親愛的朋友們:

You are invited to attend the monthly Day of Mindfulness (DOM) on 29 May 2010 [the last Saturday of May].

梅村香港基金會(以下簡稱「梅村」)在這裏誠意邀請你參加在2010年6月26日舉行的正念修習日。

 

The monthly Day of Mindfulness is a regular activity organized by and for mindfulness practitioners in the tradition of Thich Nhat Hanh (Thay) and Plum Village.  It normally falls on the 4th Saturday of each month.   We are truly grateful that Centre for Religious and Spirituality Education (CRSE) of HKIEd has served as the co-organiser of DOM since June, 2007 and has provided a very nice environment to support our practice.  Thereafter, many participants have found the DOMs very fruitful and enjoyable.

正念修習日是由梅村和香港教育學院宗敎及心靈敎育中心合辦, 並由一群按照一行禪師的教法及梅村修習傳統的同修們主持的一個恒常性活動。活動通常在每月的第4個週未舉行。我們非常感激香敎育學院的宗敎及心靈敎育中心從2007年6月開始向我們提供一個環境優美的場地以支援我們的修習。從那時開始,很多參加者曾透過修習體驗到正念的喜悅。

 

The DOM is mainly facilitated by the lay practitioners with the intention to strengthen our relationship.  Besides, we are very happy to have the presence and guidance of the Plum Village monastic sangha.  The DOM is a day for us to leave behind our work and worries and just to enjoy the presence of each other under the blue sky and the scenic hillside.  We can experience the happiness of the present moment simply through the activities including walking, sitting and eating, dharma talk, deep relaxation, five mindfulness training recitation and group sharing together.  The mindfulness practice will help us to become more focus and attentive in our daily life.  Practicing together is indeed very happy and enjoyable!

正念修習日主要由梅村的同修帶領,藉以增進同修手足之情。此外,梅村法師同時在場指導。修習日能讓我們暫時放下忙碌的工作和生活步伐,有機會在藍天、山巒下,藉著一起修習行禪、靜坐、進食前默觀、正念進食、佛法講座、深度放鬆、五項正念讀誦、小組分享等活動,體驗每時每刻都活在當下的美妙和保持正念的喜悅。正念的修習可讓我們在生活中多一點專注,對身邊的事情多一些關愛。大家在一起修習是莫大的喜悅和享受!

The programme of the coming DOM is as follows:


9:00      Walking meditation (Meet outside the Quiet Room of CRSE)
10:00     Dharma Talk
12:00     Lunch (Please bring your own vegetarian packed lunch)
13:00     Rest
14:00     Total Relaxation
14:45     Mindfulness Training Recitation (with sitting and chanting)
16:00     Dharma discussion
17:00     Farewell

The Quiet Room of CRSE can accommodate about 45 persons for this Day of Mindfulness. Please help us know if you are attending this event by registering online at 由於CRSE靜室只能容納約45名參加者,故此,請登入以下連結報名,讓我們預早知道你的參與。
